His leadership experience is gained from more than 19 years of working
in the computer industry. He has mastered the ability to assimilate requirements,
co-worker abilities, technical roadblocks, and find creative solutions
to drive a project to successful completion.
Gary has worked for Systems Engineering Laboratories
as a system developer; Apple Computer, where he developed the Macintosh
Hierarchical File System; Gould Computer Systems, where he helped pioneer
the first truly parallel real-time version of Ada; Encore, where he
helped productize their Intelligent Storage Controller; Sun
Microsystems, as manager of Core Software Mainframe and Systems
Development; and CommerceQuest,
as manager of the IT Product Development Groups. Since joining Salient,
Gary has worked on several technical contracts, including streaming video
web site design and firewall and networking constructs. He has a
Bachelors degree in Math/Computer Science from Furman University and
a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida
College of Engineering.
Bob Goldfarb

Bob has over eighteen years experience in the computer and technology
industries. His broad knowledge of these industries brings creative
insight and experience to the table. Bob has worked in
software development, project leadership, and marketing support with
a wide array of technologies. Most
recently, he has done full life-cycle product development in Java and
XML, and is considered an expert in these areas. Bob usually is called
upon to work on projects involving hard-to-understand tasks
and technologies
that are new to a project. He is the person assigned to quickly learn
new technologies, start a project, and lead other engineers.
Bob has worked with leading organizations such as Sun
Microsystems, Cyberguard, CommerceQuest, Encore Computer, and
Nova Southeastern University. Bob has a Bachelor’s degree in
Biology from Franklin and Marshall
College, and a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of
Delaware. He has also taken extensive coursework in Java technologies,
and computer design issues, from Nova Southeastern University and Sun
Microsystems.

Sun Microsystems.
He has worked on many different aspects of multiprocessor
Unix systems, including I/O controllers, language and runtime
development, operating systems, real-time systems, and
high-performance databases. He has functioned as project leader,
quick-response team leader, technical
instructor, software architect, on-site customer support, and software
engineer. Don has a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering
from Carnegie Mellon University.
Paul Fong

Paul is known for being meticulous, resourceful, and effective in his
software development projects. He has 16 years of experience in
the computer industry with leading-edge companies.
He has worked at Unicomp Corporation of America developing
customized information systems, as well as software for the health care
industry; Gould and Encore, implementing system analysis/monitoring
tools
and sophisticated communications systems; Sun Microsystems, creating a
multi-tiered storage controller management system; and CommerceQuest,
developing database connectors/portals for the B2B arena. Paul has
a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information Sciences from
the University of Florida,
where he graduated with high honors.
Kathy Cullen

Kathy is a natural leader and organizer. She has an ability to
illuminate hidden obstacles and then overcome them. Kathy has
14 years of experience
in advanced systems development.
She developed system-level test suites for Gould using
their UTX Operating System (BSD Unix). She then moved to the UTX
OS development group, and was promoted to
Section Manager of the Commands and Utilities
Group. At Encore, she was instrumental in porting their System V Unix
from a proprietary minicomputer to a RISC microprocessor platform.
She was also the Project/Team Manager for advanced
experimental storage projects,
such as ports of the Data Storage Product software to a
proprietary multi-quadrant
single-board computer and to an open architecture system. At Sun, Kathy
managed an enterprise storage snapshot project from its initial design
to its successful release. Kathy has a BBA in Accounting from Stetson
University, a BA in Math/Computer Science from Florida Atlantic
University and a Certificate of Professional Graduate Studies in
Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
